OVERALL Orlando's on Indiana Ave has been a family-friendly Italian staple for Lubbock, TX, since 1965. RATING BREAKDOWN Food: 4 | Service: 4 | Ambiance: 4 | Price: 4 PARKING Free lot and side street parking in a medium-sized plaza. LOCATION/AMBIANCE This is one of two Orlando's in Lubbock, TX. Facing the front outside of the restaurant, the takeout door was to the left & the dine-in entrance to the right. We definitely had fun, casual vibes once inside. Our booth had high backings and views of flatscreens. THE GRUB + Fried Zucchini $9.99 (7/20/2024). Delightfully crispy batter. + Half order of Manicotti $12.99. The meat sauce was very flavorful. + The "Margatini" $8.99. Tons of ice. It was okay. + Potato and Green Chile Soup (came as an option with my meal). Slight kick, but very flavorful! I would get this again in a heartbeat. + Vanilla Italian soda ($3.99). Delish. My daughter got it with her kid's meal. LITTLE YELPER'S CLUB Kid's menus are available. One child of mine requested the spaghetti with meat sauce ($7.99). The other kiddo opted for the cheese ravioli with meat sauce ($8.99) which she loved. SERVICE Our hostess back on July 20, 2024, was not all that friendly, but our waitress, Brylee, was. Service was a bit slow at times. MY FAVORITE PART... The fried zucchini. NOT SO FAVORITE PART... The table garlic bread. My kiddos did not like it either. TIP + D-N-D stands for "Down-N-Dirty" at Orlando's which entails "Orlando's garlic spread and lots of Habanero Hot Sauce."

Arrived at around 7pm or just after was immediately greeted, they were super busy, they seated myself and family very quickly. After being seated our waitress immediately arrived to take our drink orders. She was very friendly. When our orders were taken she helped us with our menu questions, took great care to make sure our order was correct. Our appetizers arrived we quickly and our food shortly following. Everything was absolutely delicious - we were stuffed! Service was excellent; food was delicious - so glad we chose to eat here!

Orlando' is a family favorite. We love the pizza delivery. There have been many a Sunday dinner where Orlando's feeds the family. The spicy Tortellini has become a new fun food for the family. If dining in Atmosphere is family friendly and location is easy to get to.

Andrew was a great waiter. We had a great dinner, food was just what we all wanted. I had the Jumbo Italian Roast Beef, it was great. A little spice and I added fries. There was a tone of them. We had spaghetti and pepperoni pizza and a chicken sandwich. Oh and Fried Ravioli and Mafia Queso for appetizers. Pretty sure Torchy's stole Orlando's recipe. Great couple of hours!

The service was great and the DND Tortellini was SO GOOD! The main pasta dish did not really impress me but, it was decent. Overall atmosphere was very family friendly. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the Lubbock area.

There are two things that we must do whenever passing through Lubbock. First is seeing family. The second is eating at Orlando's. We started off the meal with mafia queso, which is always a family favorite. While the wife and I both enjoyed our green chili, chicken linguine, our son-in-law ordered the dragon fire pizza. As always the green chili chicken, linguine was amazing and after sneaking a piece of the dragon fire pizza, I must say it's delicious.
